Live Guest Painting
The best favor you could offer your guests. Perfect for weddings, corporate events, or parties of any kind.
How it works.
Done in watercolor and ink these minimalist portraits are done in a faceless style with focus on the guest’s attire, hair style/color, & skin tones. Painted on 5”x 7” hot pressed watercolor paper, all paintings are inserted into a plastic slip for protection.
On the day of I’ll arrive early to set up and bring all my supplies.
Each portrait is done from photos and takes about 3-4 minutes per person. Guests are encouraged to pose with groups of 4 or less.
The newlyweds will get a special 9” x 12” painting to commemorate the night.
Investment.
3 hours (50 guests): $1500 *Not available on weekends
up to 5 hours (60 - 70 guests): $2,700
6 hours (80-90 guests): $3,000
7 hours (100-110 guests): $3,300
-If you have a larger guest count additional guest paintings can be finished in the studio (invoiced at $150/hr) and mailed to you for you to distribute.
Deposit:
I ask for a 25% deposit due when booking, with the final balance due 2 weeks before the event date.
All guest sketches are 5” x 7” watercolor and ink on hot-pressed watercolor paper, and placed in a clear sleeve when finished.

I mostly stay in the PNW, but would love to travel internationally!

At the venue all I need is a table and chair.
I recommend choosing a place in the reception space that can accommodate a line for guests waiting for their portraits. Also a cocktail table nearby is wonderful for guests to put down their drinks!
I provide all at supplies, lights, and signage.

Yes! I’ve learned that guests don’t love to wait 3-7 minutes for the paintings to get finished, much less waiting in a line. So now I mainly work from photos.
